It has a nice flow, Chris. And I really liked how you infused Stoic cosmology into this. I’ve always thought their ideas in that regard were quite similar to the Epicureans. Unfortunately, we only have a few fragments to go on. Have you ever looked into Guthrie’s “History of Greek Philosophy”. He doesn’t discuss the Stoics so much, but the way he approaches the Pre-Socratics is really enjoyable and illuminating.

Thanks for the book tip Daniel, and very glad you enjoyed the poem! A way of transmuting from the academic life I suppose, at the time. But I would have to dust off my thesis to recall exactly which secondary sources I used then. As for the Pre-Socratics, funny story I will have to tell at some point in the future- there's even space in the middle chapters of 'Detective Grigoris' for Thales. But not as one might expect...
