Deliberations on Structure; what would you like the read and when?
Imagining the content of this space is up to me, but you can provide opinions too.
I envision this as a pure writing space, as far as possible.
Many people love technology, and fully embrace everything from design to marketing and all the sundry bells-and-whistles, from metrics to coding.
I am not one of those people. I am just a writer.
That said, I am cognizant that there are certain expectations of a newsletter author. At the same time, I must prevent the distractions of the technical system from affecting my ability to write well.
Therefore, I welcome opinions on what you, the reader, would like to read, and with what frequency. (Please read this newsletter’s About page first). I do not wish to bombard people with unwanted ‘content.’ With the freedom this platform allows, it is necessary to only publish work when worthy of being read.
One possible structural plan, at least to start out with, might be to sequence a topic-per-month, with individual articles on said topic, and then move on to cover another topic the next month. Of course, I will always keep my general production geared to what I think is relevant, so this may be more a provisional guideline than a rule.
That’s all for now. Feel free to comment on whether you like this approach, or have other requests.
